Epub and Mobi.

The season of book-reading marathon came and I’ve indulged myself to ebooks (Yes, I am an e-reader convert already) and my eyes hurt and still don’t care.

The Fallen Series.

Move over, vampires. Angels are on their way to the mainstream. It’s a young adult fantasy novel written by Lauren Kate that started publishing its first last 2009. Luce meets Daniel, both drawn with each other… experiencing the familiarity. Daniel, Cam and all the other Fallen Angels help Luce to break a curse that keeps Daniel and Luce away from each other for ages. Daniel kept falling in love with the same girl over eternity.

Why We Broke Up.

Inside the box are the reasons why they broke up. It’s a young adult debut of Daniel Handler that talks about Min Green and Ed Slaterton’s breakup. It has illustrations of the things found inside the box.

“Two bottle caps, a movie ticket, a folded note, a box of matches, a protractor, books, a toy truck, a pair of ugly earrings, a comb from a motel room, and every other item collected over the course of a giddy, intimate, heartbreaking relationship.”

Min gave this box to Ed, each stuff comes with letter about their story, heartfelt emotions and… why they broke up. It is written uniquely and reminded people of their break-ups and stupid stuffs they’ve done before for love.

Ready Player One.

It’s a sci-fi book written by Ernest Cline. The story happened in the year 2044 and the earth is nearly coming to its end. It’s about a boy who lives in time where in the offline world comes to blur and the online world is what kept the people up and about. Still reading the book, so ciao!

Wonderland.

Some songs played. Some are overplayed. Others are just constant on your playlist but rarely played.

It’s amazing how these songs remind us of some highlights in our lives. Be it bitter or sweet, they are nevertheless reviving and nostalgic. Sometimes, they wake people up. Slap them invisibly that this isn’t a music video, you should go back to reality.

But more than anything, it’s the songs that keep you preoccupied when you’re advised of bed rest/being a bum by your physician.

Kind.

It’s THAT kind.

It’s when you’re feeling restless, but the thought of it makes you feel you’ve found a bit of spare energy somewhere in your body.

It is the kind of having the desire of wanting to good in any kind of humane way. In any possible way.

It is the kind that made you realize how important it is to remove the thorny hatred you have been burying inside your heart. That this makes no sense at all on keeping it there. That forgiveness from whatever it is that made you have today became the key. Because this kind is the kind that… Oh well.

And last, it is the kind that taught you to do some deep breathing for seconds when both of your moods are about to burst.

Temporary Madness

We’ve been spending most of our time doing the things we might be leaving on the next few years. Meaning to say, temporary acts on temporary goals. We are stuck in a moment in which it is a necessity to live that way instead of doing nothing. Just living like that for the mean time. But time runs because it will never stood still, bitchsquealers. The abomination of the results of the way you are living squeezes in and slaps you a billion times, the problem is you never wake up. So what do we do? Stay where you do things half-heartedly. Stay because you think you have time. What if it’s not enough? What if?

Wanna?

Cleared post. Sometimes, everything you’ve poured your heart into–everything you have awfully written that were driven by bothersome, jealousy, there and that. You just gotta press the ctrl, “a” and delete keys on your keyboard and instead, type everything about what made you clear everything. It’s not like there will be consequential matters to deal with after posting it publicly to the walls of the WWW., it is just that the fine words (I had to use, fine) are better left kept.

Remember when your Aunt/Uncle/Whoever gives you this ostentatiously big speech on not telling lies (even the white ones, remember those?) and the whatabouts of “the truth will come out, anyway” line? Bullshit. First: They are right about the “telling lies”, they are mean, bad, stupid and immature so let’s leave it. Second, The truth will come out but who ca-aares? I shall take riskssss on keeping these sentiments. Third? I don’t think there’s a third one.

There. I’m finally sleepy. Thank God!

Ampersand.

It was the part about the opposites that did it, of course. She didn’t know who or what she had fallen in love with, but she was as lost and dreamy and helpless as she’d ever been in her entire life.

Redundancy. n.

I was hesistant to buy this as I wait for you on our nth date. I think I already lost track how many dates we’ve had that night. Then, we went on our usual dates after I got out from the bookstore. I bought it, obviously. Bought it after a gazillion times asking myself If I have to.

So I found myself too much in love with this book. It’s not really the type of book I’d read, but it got me real hard. Big time. I have a hardcopy of it. I also have an ebook version of it.

Appreciating all of this more and more as I read the book again and again.
